# Data from: 'Hysteresis in the gyrofluid resistive drift wave turbulence to zonal flow transition'

## Content of this data repository
The files in this foldes are data, inputfiles, code and scripts to be able to reproduce all the figures presented in 
the paper.

## Figures 1-4 and 7
The files in folder `fig1to4and7` are the original simulation and figure data used in Figs. 1-4 and 7. The data has been produced with the original [ghw](https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cpc.2024.109412) code. The responsible co-author is Alexander Kendl.

## Other Figures
Figures 5,6,8,9,10 and 11 have been created with a slightly modified version of `ghw`. The data there can be reproduced using the code in the folder `/mghw` (see the instructions therein) with the inputfiles given in the respective folders. The original data are not given in these cases, because they include parameter scans and would exceed reasonable sizes. (Note: `/mghw/modules/get_ghw1.py` has to be added to the python path to run the plotting scripts.) The responsible co-author for these figures is Fabian Grander.
